AN OPEN LETTER TO BOSTON CATHOLIC PARISHES, FRIENDS, LEADERS, GROUPS AND MINISTRIES

Thanks for taking a moment to read this post.
I am writing to tell you about an event that is close to my heart and hopefully, in a moment, yours too.
Kids around the world like James (shown in the photo below) are fed, literally and spiritually, by Catholic missionaries supported by an organization called The Society for the Propagation of the Faith.
What you see is not a stock photo. It's an actual photo taken during a mission trip in Zambia. The food on his plate was provided to James by missionaries.
These missionaries are the 'boots on the ground' as a constant presence in the lives of children in need.
Missionaries feed, clothe, house, educate, and provide medicine for families and children.
They are saving lives!
I only recently learned about this organization and I am so proud to know people like Maureen Crowley Heil -- the Director of Programs and Development here in Boston. She is just one of many faithful souls helping millions of kids.

Thanks to a generous benefactor, The Society for the Propagation of the Faith is hosting a FREE movie night (AMC Framingham, March 10th) and you are invited so save the date!
This will be a HUGE "FILM-RAISER" of 1,500 seats --- a whole theatre buy-out --- to support these sweet kids!
You will enjoy the feature film "The Young Messiah," an inspiring story of seven-year-old Jesus Christ and his family.

$25 – Gives anti-Malaria medicine to children in Uganda
$50 – Furnishes a classroom in Papua New Guinea
